Mel Ball has performed for President Barack Obama and President Bill Clinton.  President Clinton played tenor sax with his band, President George Bush and President Ronald Reagan. Additionally, Mel Ball held position of Music Director and Producer of the National Governors Conference for 44 Governors; performed at Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm’s Inaugural Ball, former Michigan Governor John Engler's Inaugural Ball, and former Governor James Blanchard's Inaugural Ball; performed at Super Bowl events for the Oakland Raiders in San Diego, California; Super Bowl events in Detroit, Michigan - including Bill Ford’s reception for all the team owners; Super Bowl events in Miami, Florida for the Indianapolis Colts; Jazz At The Lincoln Center In New York; Detroit Symphony Orchestra; Michigan Opera Theater; gala's chaired by Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago (Palm Beach Florida); and numerous other high-profile social and corporate events across the United States.
