President of Mel Ball Entertainment/Events.

Performed for four United States Presidents, including Bill Clinton who played tenor sax with the band (see video); held position of Music Director and Producer of the National Governors Conference for 44 Governors; composed original music now placed in the Reagan Library, Washington, DC; composed a large catalogue of songs, one of which was released by George Benson and Roberta Fleck – selling over 2 million copies;  composed many national commercials, including the theme for Macabbee’s Mutual Life Insurance Co., used nightly on NBC Network News for 9 consecutive years; author of 2 books and 1 musical play, Extensions  (18 songs), which will begin production in 2008.

Along with Mel Ball and Colours, performed at: the 2005 Presidential Inaugural Ball in Washington DC; 2 of the past Governor’s Inaugural Balls in Michigan; the 2003 Super Bowl for the Oakland Raiders in San Diego, California; several 2006 Super Bowl events in Detroit, MI - including Bill Ford’s reception for all the team owners; 2007 Super Bowl in Miami for the Indianapolis Colts ; Jazz At The Lincoln Center In New York; The Detroit Symphony Orchestra; The Michigan Opera Theater; Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholms Inaugural Ball, and numerous other high-profile social and corporate events.
